The Heroes of Might and Magic II Complete Edition patch for GOG was released on January 19th, 2019, which is quite fast given the release schedules of most publishers. This update brings with it mountain of new content including two expansions to Heroes of Might and Magic II in addition to numerous gameplay balance changes. Pre-ordering the Full Adventure Pack DLC will give you access to all future content updates throughout the game’s lifetime. This patch is free for anyone who already owns a copy or has bought this game before January 16th, 2019. Otherwise it will cost $9.99 USD/£7. 99. If you have the game on Steam, then you can use the same account to activate this version on GOG.
